Sol Strategies Expands SOL Holdings With Recent Acquisition

According to PANews, Canadian publicly traded company Sol Strategies announced the acquisition of an additional 40,300 SOL tokens between January 19 and January 31, 2025. The purchase was made at a total cost of approximately 14,337,332 Canadian dollars (9,935,329 USD), with an average price of 355.77 CAD (246.53 USD) per SOL, inclusive of fees and expenses. Additionally, the company completed a second phase of a private placement of convertible bonds, raising 2.5 million USD. The proceeds were used to acquire 6,564.47 SOL at an average price of 380.84 CAD (265.65 USD) per token. As of January 31, 2025, Sol Strategies and its subsidiaries hold approximately 189,968 SOL tokens. The total purchase cost for these holdings is around 48.7 million CAD, with an average acquisition price of 256.21 CAD per SOL, including fees and expenses. Based on the closing price of SOL on January 31, 2025, the value of these holdings is estimated at 63.7 million CAD.
