Sora Ventures Takes Control Of HK Asia Holdings Board

According to Odaily, Sora Ventures and its affiliates have assumed control of the board of directors of HK Asia Holdings, a Hong Kong-listed company focused on Bitcoin. This transition follows the submission of director appointment documents, which became effective on February 12, 2025. The move signifies a shift from merely holding shares to taking on management responsibilities within the company. The newly formed board comprises 12 directors, including executive, non-executive, and independent non-executive positions. Notable appointments include David Bailey and John Riggins from BTC Inc., the owner of Bitcoin Magazine, Jason Fang from Sora Ventures, Siu Muk Lung as chairman, Chung Chi Fai, and Mary Wong as executive directors. The board's structure features four committees: Audit, Remuneration, Nomination, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), with designated roles for committee chairs and members.
