According to Foresight News, Bitcoin analyst Julian Fahrer has reported that by the end of 2024, twelve U.S. states collectively hold $330 million in staked shares of Strategy Company. Among these, California, Florida, Wisconsin, and North Carolina have the largest holdings in their retirement funds and treasuries.
California's Teachers' Retirement Fund reported holding 285,785 shares valued at approximately $83 million as of February 14, according to a 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The California Public Employees' Retirement System holds 264,713 shares worth about $76 million. The Florida Retirement System Trust Fund Board manages 160,470 shares valued at $46 million. The Wisconsin Investment Board holds 100,957 shares worth $29 million, while North Carolina's State Treasurer holds MSTR shares valued at $22 million. Additionally, New Jersey's Police and Firemen's Retirement System, along with the Common Pension Fund, collectively hold shares valued at $26 million.
