Stablecoin Legislation to Transform DeFi Landscape, Says dForce Founder

He stated that the upcoming stablecoin law will significantly alter the sector, with DeFi underlying protocols being the primary beneficiaries. Mindao noted that stablecoins are undergoing diversification, with decentralized stablecoins facing a reduction in space, leaving only investment-oriented types like USDe or those used internally within protocols such as GHO and USX. He highlighted that USDC is encountering compliance challenges, while USDT, as a shadow dollar, is likely to benefit more. Mindao emphasized that stablecoins are merely the precursor to the broader trend of Real World Assets (RWA) in the DeFi space.
