Crypto infrastructure company Fireblocks has announced its integration with Canton Network. This move allows financial institutions to custody and settle assets on a regulated privacy blockchain. The integration supports governance settlement of Canton Coin (CC) through the Fireblocks platform and its trust entities regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). Fireblocks also runs supervalidator nodes on the network, directly participating in transaction verification and governance. Canton Network is a permissioned blockchain developed by Digital Asset and governed by the Canton Foundation. Currently, institutions such as BitGo, Franklin Templeton, and DTCC have integrated the network for tokenized securities, deposits, and collateral management.
