In an interview with CNBC, Trump pointed out that Bitcoin has seen an average annual increase of about 70% over the past decade, calling it "one of the best-performing asset classes of the last ten years." He stated that while price volatility exists, it is the price that high-growth assets must bear. Currently, Bitcoin's price is hovering around $67,000, a significant drop from its high of $126,000 reached in October 2025. Trump had previously predicted that Bitcoin would reach $175,000 by the end of 2025, with a long-term target of $1 million. This statement comes as the Trump family deepens its involvement in the crypto space, with World Liberty Financial considered one of its core crypto projects.
