The Central Bank of Iran confirmed that the first toll payment collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz has been deposited into its account as "cash in foreign currency." Previously, reports indicated that Iran was collecting the toll in "cryptocurrency." Earlier that day, Haji Babae, Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Parliament, stated that Iran had received the first toll payment and deposited it into the Central Bank's account. (CCTV News)
