According to Coinpost, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank of Japan announced that it is cooperating with the blockchain interoperability startup Datachain and the financial software company Soramitsu to realize mutual transfer and exchange between various stablecoins scheduled to be issued in Japan , and improve the efficiency and reduce costs of remittances between banks, companies and individuals. The plan will carry out an empirical experiment of "PVP payment", that is, simultaneous payment between different digital currencies on a heterogeneous blockchain platform. The partnership will involve MUFG’s stablecoin platform Progmat Coin and Soramitsu’s regional digital currency issued for use with Hyperledger Iroha.
