The active supplies of Bitcoin and Ethereum have both hit record lows in the past year.
Compared with before, only 30.12% of the current supply of Bitcoin has changed hands, while from March 2017 to 2018, this figure was 59%;
Only 39.15% of the current ETH supply has changed, while from July 2016 to 2017, this figure was 86%.
For Bitcoin, a record low in active supply usually precedes a block issuance reward halving, which is currently expected to take place on April 24 next year, with 155 days left. (The Block)
