"Fortnite" publisher Epic Games has announced that "Shrapnel," a "Call of Duty"-style crypto video game, will be available on the Epic Games Store.
Neon Machine, the gaming studio behind the project, hopes to allow players to customize "every aspect of the game, including characters, weapons, and game maps." (The Block)
According to news in November 2023, the six founders of Neon Machine, the game studio behind Shrapnel, have filed a lawsuit in the Delaware Trial Court against investment institution 4D Factory CEO Cort Javarone, 4D equity holder Steve Horowitz, and private equity Scott Honour of Northern Pacific Group, and said these investors are trying to control the company's shareholders and plunder its coffers.
In response, the shooting game Shrapnel posted on the AAA first-person survival escape shooter and is focused on releasing an Early Access version in the coming weeks."
