Texas-based Bitcoin mining and custody giant Riot has raised nearly $560 million through share offerings over the past four months to fund its massive acquisition of MicroBT’s WhatsMiners. Riot disclosed in its annual report on Friday that the company will receive a total of $747.7 million in net proceeds from equity offerings in 2023, 60% of which came from the previous quarter, in addition to additional funds raised through market offerings since December 31 115 million US dollars.
