A Nigerian court has postponed the tax evasion case against Binance executives until next month. According to Reuters, on Wednesday, Nigerian authorities failed to bring Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, who was charged in the case, to court, resulting in the postponement of the case.
Neither Nigerian authorities nor Binance gave an explanation for Tigran Gambaryan's absence.
Moses Ideho, a lawyer for the tax authority, said Gambaryan was expected to be brought to court by the Nigerian Prison Service. Subsequently, Judge Emeka Nwite set June 14 as the possible date for the arraignment of Binance and Gambaryan. (Coin Edition)
