Avail announced that the Avail DA mainnet has been launched and launched its native token AVAIL. AVAIL is used to pay for data availability, and holders can stake tokens starting Tuesday to help promote network security. According to its official documents, AVAIL will also play a key role in Avail's governance, and the project adopts a phased approach to community decision-making.
It is reported that the total supply of AVAIL tokens is 10 billion. In April, the project airdropped 600 million tokens for eligible participants, which can be claimed once the AVAIL DA layer is online.
Avail is led by Anurag Arjun, the former co-founder of Polygon. Avail DA is the first of three parts of Avail's full-stack architecture, and the project is now working on its next two major versions: the interoperability layer Nexus and the security network layer Fusion.
In addition, AVAIL will soon be launched on Bybit, Bitget, Gate, HTX, MEXC, BingX, and Bithumb.
