Immunefi founder: Attacks on DeFi protocols have become a "full-time job" for professional hackers

Mitchell Amador, founder of blockchain security firm Immunefi, said in an interview that despite the threat of "professional DeFi attackers," the cryptocurrency space is undoubtedly becoming more secure, and at a very fast pace. He pointed to the results of Immunefi's third quarter report for 2024, which found that losses from cryptocurrency hacks fell 38% year-on-year to just under $424 million.
