U.S. judge asks CFTC to notify Ooki DAO founder of lawsuit

According to CoinDesk, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California held a hearing on the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) lawsuit against Ooki DAO last week. Judge William Orrick did not make a ruling that day, but then ordered the CFTC to sue the founder of Ooki DAO. Tom Bean and Kyle Kistner told the lawsuit, "The CFTC alleges that it was aware that some of Ooki DAO's token holders resided in and conducted business in the United States because the two founders of bZeroX, the Ooki DAO predecessor entity, were token holders residing in the United States. Yes, and this is new information to me, that in order to provide the best possible notification, the CFTC should, to the extent possible, provide at least one identifiable token holder with the service of notifying the lawsuit.”
