▌The US Stablecoin Bill will be voted on in the Senate as soon as next week, and supporters say it will "go down in history"
The Stablecoin National Innovation Guidance and Establishment Act (GENIUS Act) promoted by Senators Bill Hagerty and Kirsten Gillibrand is expected to be debated and passed in the Senate as soon as next week. Hagerty said: "Next week, the Senate will go down in history when we debate and pass the GENIUS Act, which will establish the first growth-friendly payment stablecoin regulatory framework." Gillibrand said that "the formulation of this bill was a true bipartisan collaboration" and emphasized that it included "strong consumer protection."
Although the "Motion to End Debate" vote failed to pass before, the bill has entered the latest draft stage, and the text has been adjusted to meet the Democratic Party's concerns about consumer protection and national security. The draft makes it clear that large listed companies such as Meta will not be approved to issue stablecoins.
The Senate will vote again next Monday, and 60 votes are required to officially start the debate. The House of Representatives is also moving forward with its own version, which will need to be integrated and signed into law by President Trump.

▌The top four markets for Web3 fitness app Moonwalk are France, the United States, Nigeria and Vietnam
In an interview at Consensus 2025, Caitlin Cook, director of development for Web3 fitness app Moonwalk, said that the top four markets for the project are currently France, the United States, Nigeria and Vietnam. Moonwalk Fitness offers users a variety of game options, with varying game durations, steps and entry fees. Users need to pay a fee (in USDC, BONK or SOL) to join the game. If users reach their daily step goal, they will receive a full refund and have the opportunity to participate in a prize pool formed by deposits from users who did not reach their step goal.
Caitlin Cook said that markets such as Southeast Asia and Africa are particularly promising. Since users can create their own games and set their own game entry fees, there is no financial threshold.

▌Bloomberg: Binance, Kraken successfully blocked phishing attacks similar to Coinbase
According to Bloomberg, Binance and Kraken have recently become targets of social engineering attacks similar to the incident disclosed by Coinbase, but neither exchange reported a customer information leak, and successfully blocked the attack "due to internal protection measures."
The attackers tried to lure customer service representatives through Telegram to ask for "sensitive customer data such as account balances and home addresses." According to the report, "the AI security systems of the two exchanges identified the attack vectors and blocked the phishing attempts."
Previously, Coinbase disclosed in a document submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that cybercriminals "bribed overseas customer service representatives" in an attempt to obtain user data and account management records, and the incident may cause up to $400 million in remediation expenses and customer compensation.
It is not clear whether the hackers who attacked Binance and Kraken are the same hackers who attacked Coinbase.

▌What is RISC-V?
RISC-V is a modern open source instruction set architecture (ISA) based on the principles of reduced instruction set computers (RISC). Simply put, it is like a blueprint that defines a set of instructions that a processor can execute. The design goals of RISC-V are highly modular, efficient, and flexible. Originally developed by the University of California in 2010, the open-source framework gives developers the flexibility to customize its features and use cases, and it also saves costs compared to proprietary ISAs such as ARM or x86. RISC-V has a wide range of uses, from supercomputers to smartphones, and now blockchains such as Ethereum. On April 20, 2025, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin announced a "radical" new expansion plan to replace the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) with the RISC-V instruction set architecture, aiming to improve the speed and efficiency of the network's execution layer. The idea is that RISC-V is the best solution to the scalability limitations of blockchains.
