Cultural Diversity Takes Center Stage in NFT Content Creation Classes
Professor Won Eun-seok, the head of the International Digital Asset Council (IDAC) and a lecturer at Mokwon University, spearheaded unique NFT content creation classes in Daejeon. These classes, catering to students from various backgrounds, utilised generative AI to craft character images, subsequently minted as NFTs.

As part of a non-profit civic initiative, IDAC, sponsored by the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, conducted digital asset education in two primary and one high school, involving 54 students during October and November.

During the program, students delved into the realms of blockchain and NFTs, gaining firsthand experience in converting their ideas and content into valuable assets. Practical exercises included creating characters using generative AI, followed by minting them into NFTs.
Microsoft's AI and 'Bibloc' Marketplace Facilitate NFT Creation
The classes leveraged Microsoft's generative AI, 'Image Creator,' and the NFT marketplace 'Bibloc' to produce NFTs, which were then transferred to the digital asset wallet 'Clip' on KakaoTalk.
Survey Results Show Positive Impact on Digital Asset Understanding
Professor Won Eun-seok gathered opinions from students using a 15-question survey, measuring five factors on a 6-point scale. All aspects, including 'Digital Asset Awareness (5.48),' 'Course Comprehension (5.58),' 'Course Satisfaction (5.46),' 'Digital Asset Self-Efficacy (5.45),' and 'Course Engagement (5.56),' yielded positive results. Notably, increased comprehension of the course correlated with heightened awareness and self-efficacy regarding digital assets.
Keyword Insights: NFTs, AI, and Digital Assets Top the List
Students were asked to provide up to five keywords detailing what they learned. The results showed a focus on 'NFT (62 mentions, 34%),' 'Generative AI (42 mentions, 23%),' 'Digital Assets (21 mentions, 12%),' 'Assetization (19 mentions, 10%),' 'Content (16 mentions, 9%),' 'Digital Technology (13 mentions, 7%),' and 'Intellectual Property (9 mentions, 5%).'
Multicultural Students Excited About NFT Possibilities
A student from a multicultural family expressed enthusiasm, saying, "Using generative AI to create my character NFT for my wallet and planning to turn my own webcomics into NFTs was fantastic."

Professor Won Eun-seok emphasised the significance of the sponsored NFT education, highlighting it as the pioneering initiative in frontline schools. He expressed optimism, stating that the research confirmed students' clear understanding of the assetization process and expects this case to be a catalyst for the future activation of digital asset education, particularly in NFTs.
