Standard Chartered Bank: BTC will rise to US$150,000 by the end of the year and US$250,000 in 2025

• Standard Chartered raised its year-end Bitcoin price forecast by 50% to $150,000.

• The bank also predicts that BTC will reach a cycle high of $250,000 in 2025 before stabilizing around $200,000.

Standard Chartered’s analysis is based on a comparison of gold prices following the launch of gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States, and the correlation between ETF inflows and BTC prices. The spot Bitcoin ETF began trading in the United States in January.

We believe the gold analogy - in terms of ETF impact and optimal portfolios - remains a good starting point for estimating the 'correct' medium-term Bitcoin price level," the report said.
