Recently, a statement by Harris, the Democratic candidate of the United States, has attracted the attention of many crypto ecosystem practitioners. She publicly stated that the United States should maintain its leading position in many fields, including new technologies such as blockchain.
This is the first time that she has publicly expressed her positive views on crypto technology.
Seeing this statement, I remembered the situation of a Q&A session with an audience member during a recent online exchange.
At that time, an audience member asked me which of the two American candidates I was more optimistic about?
My answer (roughly) is: Judging from the current situation (during the exchange), Trump is very clearly in support of crypto technology, so it seems that Trump will be more friendly to the crypto ecosystem. But from the perspective of the American system, I think whoever comes to power in the end will not have a big hindering effect on the development of the crypto ecosystem.
The reason why I think so is very simple:
Because with the vigorous development of encryption technology, a group of emerging technology capitalists in the field of encryption are rising in the United States. When these capitalists have wealth, they will inevitably use their wealth to influence American politicians and influence American industrial policies.
In this exchange of interests and compromise, it is impossible for any American politician to take extremely absurd, incredible, illogical, and unreasonable policies on the encryption ecosystem.
Now Harris's public transformation basically confirms my view.
In addition to the statements of politicians, I recently saw Larry Fink, CEO and founder of BlackRock, talking about Bitcoin in an interview with Jim Cramer, and generously admitted that his (negative) view of Bitcoin was wrong. It is precisely because of the recognition of its past mistakes that BlackRock's layout in the field of encryption can be described as a big move.
All these signs clearly show that the American elite has completed a cognitive transformation of the encryption ecosystem from top to bottom.
It is almost certain that the center and leader of the encryption ecosystem have completely shifted to the United States.
From the perspective of the global situation, if the attitude of the United States stabilizes, there will be no major obstacles to the development of the encryption ecosystem in the general direction.
The development of encryption technology will surely accelerate from now on.
Yesterday there was another very shocking news. Meta released a pair of AR glasses with AI functions that are quite amazing. Although these glasses still have flaws in terms of resolution, they have greatly surpassed Apple's Vision Pro in terms of size, weight, portability, and ease of use.
More importantly, it costs only $299.
From the relevant videos released by Meta, wearing glasses, people can immerse themselves in a wonderful experience of mixing reality and virtuality that has never been experienced before.
In my opinion, this is not only a progression of AR/VR products, but also means that the virtual reality world is already within reach.
The rapid development of encryption technology, the rapid progress of AR technology, and the rapid development of AI technology all make me feel that the virtual world is roaring towards us.
More importantly, in this upcoming virtual world, what kind of interaction and chemical reaction will occur between people, machines, intelligence and encrypted assets are difficult for us to imagine now.
I think that in less than five years, human society may usher in an unimaginable new world.
Back to reality, it is a bit regrettable that some of the leaders in these fields were born in our country but eventually moved to the United States, and some were born to find a better environment in the United States.
This reminds me of what Fisher and Buffett firmly believe in, which is also what I wrote in my article on the 24th:
(According to Fisher) As long as American society always believes that the capitalist free economy can create miracles or (according to Buffett) As long as the United States always adheres to the market economy and the rule of law, then American companies can continue to create miracles and create wealth.
For us personally, in this difficult environment, we must persist in living. I believe that our generation will soon see miracles that our predecessors have never seen. As long as we can survive until tomorrow, we will see new hope.
