According to Jin10, the analysts have set the index's baseline target for this year at 6,000 points, with a bullish target of 7,500 points. They attribute the anticipated growth to rising chip prices, which have led to significant gains for major stocks like Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. These two stocks are expected to have a potential increase of 45% to 50% by 2026. Additionally, JPMorgan forecasts that the earnings per share in other non-memory industrial sectors will grow by approximately 20%. Ongoing corporate governance, market, and tax reforms in South Korea are also expected to act as additional catalysts for this growth.
