DBA, a cryptocurrency investment firm, has successfully raised $68 million for its second venture capital fund. According to Foresight News, this follows the company's previous fundraising effort in 2023, where it secured $50 million for its first fund. Both funds are closed-end venture capital funds with a 10-year duration, targeting investments in private and public markets.
Founded by former Galaxy Digital co-head of investments Michael Jordan and Ethereum commentator Jon Charbonneau, DBA focuses primarily on early-stage investments but remains active across all investment phases. The firm has previously invested in foundational infrastructure projects such as DoubleZero and Monad, stablecoin applications like Payy, MetaDAO, and Bitcoin scaling solutions through Alpen Labs.
