Tesla to Launch TeraFab Chip Factory Project This Week

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced over the weekend on X that the company will initiate the TeraFab chip factory project within seven days, which means by this Saturday. According to Ming Pao, Musk had previously mentioned during Tesla's earnings call at the end of January that the TeraFab factory aims to address potential supply chain bottlenecks. The facility will focus on producing logic circuits, memory, and packaging, and will be located in the United States to mitigate geopolitical risks.
