According to Decrypt, Mirai Labs, the crypto gaming studio behind blockchain game Pegaxy, has moved its entire ecosystem to its own Avalanche subnet. Mirai Labs CEO Corey Wilton revealed that the company's CTO, Steve Nguyen, initiated the move to Avalanche. The Ava Labs team, which is building the Avalanche blockchain, has been offering support to game developers, such as through the Avalanche Arcad3 program. Mirai Labs has now migrated to its own Avalanche subnet and turned its Pegaxy gaming governance token, PGX, into its subnet's official gas token. The company has also launched an iOS and Android animal-themed dungeon-crawling RPG game called Petopia, where players can make in-app purchases with crypto via the Mirai app. Petopia also features a "SocialFi" element, allowing players to create their own competitive groups or guilds that others can buy fractions of using Ethereum.
