Global Crypto Sector Sees Over $222 Million in Funding Last Week

PANews posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the global cryptocurrency sector witnessed 13 public funding events last week, with a total investment exceeding $222 million. The funding spanned various sectors including DeFi, Web3 combined with AI, infrastructure, and CeFi. Notable among these was Superstate Inc., which secured $82.5 million in a Series B round led by Bain Capital Crypto and Distributed Global. Additionally, Pomelo Latam raised $55 million in a Series C round, with Kaszek and Insight Partners as lead investors. Bitcoin payment startup ZBD Pay also announced the completion of a $40 million Series C funding round.
