Ethereum Co-Founder Vitalik Buterin Emphasizes Decentralization and Neutrality

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently shared his views on the X platform, highlighting the importance of decentralization and neutrality in the Ethereum protocol. According to PANews, Buterin stated that users are free to use Ethereum without agreeing with his perspectives on applications, DeFi, privacy payments, or AI. He emphasized that Ethereum, as a decentralized protocol, should maintain its permissionless and censorship-resistant nature. However, Buterin clarified that this does not prevent individuals from making value judgments or publicly criticizing applications. He stressed that neutrality should be a characteristic of the protocol layer, while individuals and communities should clearly express their principles and build ecosystems aligned with their values. Buterin acknowledged that Ethereum will be used in various ways by people with different ideologies.
