According to the agency, after reaching an average price of $3,435 per ounce in 2025, gold prices are expected to average around $4,990 per ounce in 2026. The agency anticipates that gold will peak in 2026, and as uncertainties ease and high prices suppress demand, prices are projected to gradually decline to an average of $4,689 per ounce in 2027. Over time, jewelry demand is expected to regain its traditional role as the main source of gold demand, while investment-driven volatility is likely to diminish.
