Melco International Development Posts 11.8% Drop In Interim Profit

Melco International Development (00200) reported interim net profit of HK$309 million for the six months ended June 30, down 11.8% year on year, and declared no interim dividend. ETNet reported that revenue rose 2.7% to HK$20.498 billion, helped by improved overall gaming operations. Adjusted EBITDA fell 5.8% to HK$5.06 billion, while profit before tax declined 8.7% to HK$592 million. Earnings per share were 14 HK cents.
