Haixi Pharma Files Phase IIa Trial Application For HX9428 In New Indication

Haixi Pharma (02637) said its independently developed innovative drug project HXP056 has submitted a Phase IIa new drug clinical trial application for a new indication, diabetic macular edema, to the Center for Drug Evaluation of China’s National Medical Products Administration on Monday (31), according to ETNet. The company said the new indication is the second being advanced for HX9428. HX9428 has also received Fast Track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and a Phase II clinical study for its first indication, neovascular age-related macular degeneration, is being conducted simultaneously in China and the U.S.
