Drift Protocol Approves Proposal To Launch Drift Fuel Fund

According to Odaily, the decentralized perpetual contract platform Drift Protocol, based on Solana, announced on X that the DIP-2 proposal to initiate the Drift FUEL Fund has been approved. The proposal seeks to utilize approximately 8.2 million unclaimed and confiscated DRIFT tokens to launch the Drift FUEL Fund. This fund aims to incentivize the adoption of Drift Protocol. However, the specific distribution method of the tokens will still need to be determined through governance.
