Wormhole Foundation Clarifies Unaffected Status Amid FEG Token Incident

According to PANews, the Wormhole Foundation announced this morning that the recent issues with the FEG token are unrelated to Wormhole, and all Wormhole contracts remain unaffected. Blockchain security firm CertiK's analysis revealed that the FEG bridge was attacked on December 29, 2024, due to an error in the cross-chain message processing logic of a relay contract. This contract was deployed by an address funded by the FEG team and has no connection to the Wormhole team.
