Colend Protocol Unveils 2025 Roadmap to Enhance DeFi Ecosystem

According to Odaily, the decentralized lending platform Colend Protocol, built on the Core blockchain, has released its 2025 roadmap aimed at improving the practicality and sustainability of the DeFi ecosystem. Key initiatives include the introduction of a subscription model based on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), allowing users to subscribe with $CLND monthly to earn additional returns on deposited assets. Colend also plans to launch a crypto credit card, which will offer credit limits based on crypto assets, distinguishing it from existing prepaid debit cards. Additionally, the platform will develop a community-driven BTCFi toolkit to help users optimize yield strategies. The roadmap includes a free reminting upgrade for NFT series and the introduction of liquidity mining with support for the ve(3,3) mechanism. This initiative aims to reduce market circulation, lower dilution risk, and encourage long-term holding. Furthermore, Colend intends to incorporate a decentralized oracle ranking mechanism within its governance system. The community will periodically vote to rank oracles based on performance and reliability. To support these initiatives, Colend will implement a strategic token buyback plan to reduce market circulation. This, combined with the subscription model and token utility upgrades, aims to build a more sustainable economic model.
