According to PANews, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group experienced a significant surge in cryptocurrency derivatives trading volume in 2025, reaching an all-time high despite a decline in major token prices. The average daily trading volume increased by 139% year-over-year, reaching 278,000 contracts, equivalent to a nominal daily value of approximately $12 billion.
