Dollar Index Rises as Euro and Pound Decline Against U.S. Dollar

The U.S. dollar showed stability as the dollar index climbed back above the 97 mark in New York's late trading session, closing at 97.07, marking an increase of approximately 0.2%. According to RTHK, the euro fell by 0.1% against the dollar, with earlier reports showing it at $1.1853. Meanwhile, the British pound declined by about 0.2%, trading at $1.3626. The dollar also rose against the Japanese yen, increasing by 0.5% to 153.5 yen.
