Cryptocurrency Market Experiences $220 Million in Liquidations Over 24 Hours

In the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market witnessed liquidations totaling $220 million, according to Coinglass data. According to ChainCatcher, long positions accounted for $137 million of the liquidations, while short positions amounted to $82.47 million. Bitcoin long positions saw liquidations of $63.86 million, and short positions were liquidated for $25.21 million. Ethereum experienced $30.16 million in long position liquidations and $22.04 million in short position liquidations. Additionally, 86,526 traders were liquidated globally during this period, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $11.2158 million.
