Uniswap Governance Votes on Proposal to Activate V3 Pool Fees

Uniswap's governance committee is currently voting on a proposal to activate protocol fees for all remaining V3 pools and extend these fees to an additional eight chains. According to PANews, this update aims to expand the post-UNIfication fee burning framework. The revenue will first be routed through the TokenJar contract before being bridged to the Ethereum mainnet, where it will ultimately be burned in the form of UNI tokens.
