The Bridge Project is extending its guaranteed income program to Multnomah County, Oregon, with a budget of $2.025 million aimed at aiding 100 low-income mothers. According to NS3.AI, the initiative offers phased cash payments totaling $20,250 per participant over a span of approximately three years, with the goal of alleviating childhood poverty. To qualify, applicants must reside in Multnomah County, be pregnant (up to 27 weeks), be at least 18 years old, and have an annual income below $39,000. Payments are set to begin on March 1st.
