Peter Steinberger, the creator of the AI agent framework OpenClaw, has implemented a ban on all mentions of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency within the project's Discord community. According to NS3.AI, this decision was made in response to spam and harassment issues attributed to some members of the crypto community. Despite calls from some users for a more lenient approach, Steinberger has maintained this strict policy. This move coincides with his recent transition to join OpenAI and the shift of OpenClaw to a foundation. While OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is associated with Worldcoin, Steinberger's stance against cryptocurrency appears to be independent, aiming to keep OpenClaw's focus solely on AI development.
