Gasoline Prices Surge 15.12% Amid Recent Conflict

Jim Bianco, president of Bianco Research posted on X, reports that the national average of gasoline prices has risen by 45 cents since the war began last week, marking a 15.12% increase. This is the second largest increase in the last two decades, depending on the measure used, either dollar or percentage. A 15% rise in gasoline prices contributes approximately 0.45% to the March headline CPI.
