U.S. Job Growth Surpasses Expectations in March, Impacting Bitcoin and Treasury Yields

The U.S. economy added 178,000 jobs in March, significantly exceeding the consensus estimate of 60,000. According to NS3.AI, this robust job growth contributed to a decrease in the unemployment rate, which fell to 4.3%. Following the release of these figures, Bitcoin was trading around $67,000. The 10-year Treasury yield experienced an increase of four basis points, reaching 4.35%, while the dollar index rose slightly to 100.08. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) also reported softer internals in the household survey, noting a decline in the labor force by 396,000 and a participation rate of 61.9%.
