Samsung Electronics announced on April 7 that it anticipates its first-quarter operating profit to grow more than eightfold compared to the same period last year, surpassing institutional expectations. According to Jin10, the surge in artificial intelligence infrastructure has led to supply bottlenecks, driving up chip prices. The world's largest memory chip manufacturer forecasts an operating profit of 57.2 trillion Korean won (approximately $37.92 billion) for the January to March period, compared to 6.69 trillion won in the previous year, exceeding the institutional forecast of 40.6 trillion won.
