Dash Launches Evolution Chain with Decentralized Data Contracts

According to Odaily, Dash has officially launched its Evolution chain on the X platform, marking the beginning of block production. The Evolution chain is now executing data contracts and sending files to decentralized storage. Evolution is a decentralized application platform that allows developers to build applications based on fast, simple, and reliable decentralized data access. The platform comprises four main elements: the Platform chain, data contracts, data storage, and decentralized API (DAPI). The initial applications of Evolution include the Dash Platform Name Service (DPNS) and the DashPay payment application contract. These applications aim to provide users with a more intuitive payment experience while ensuring data ownership and privacy. Dash has stated that the Genesis version includes all these features as well as support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Future improvements will focus on enhancing network stability, launching DPNS and DashPay, developing support for fungible tokens, and increasing throughput.
