Semler Scientific Increases Bitcoin Holdings With $88.5 Million Investment

According to Odaily, U.S.-listed company Semler Scientific has announced an $88.5 million investment to acquire an additional 871 Bitcoins. Since July 1, 2024, the company's Bitcoin returns have reached 152%, and it now holds a total of 3,192 Bitcoins. Previously, it was reported that Semler Scientific planned to issue $85 million in convertible senior notes due in 2030 through a private placement to qualified institutional buyers. The company intends to use part of the net proceeds from this issuance to cover the costs of capped call transactions, with the remaining funds allocated for general corporate purposes, including Bitcoin purchases.
