Paxful Reaches Agreement with U.S. Authorities, Faces Sentencing in 2026

According to Odaily, cryptocurrency exchange Paxful has agreed to plead guilty and accept a $7.5 million fine. The exchange has reached an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and is scheduled to appear for sentencing on February 10, 2026. Paxful has also announced the cessation of its operations and plans to return remaining funds to its users.
