Danish pension fund AkademikerPension has revealed its intention to liquidate all its U.S. Treasury bond holdings by the end of January. According to NS3.AI, the fund, which manages assets worth $25 billion, is driven by apprehensions regarding the sustainability of U.S. fiscal policies, risk management strategies, and geopolitical tensions involving the U.S. government. The decision also stems from concerns over fiscal discipline and the declining strength of the U.S. dollar.
