According to Jin10, the U.S. Department of Defense announced on Monday that it has introduced Starshield AI's government version of Grok and OpenAI's ChatGPT for unclassified military use, expanding the number of AI assistants on its platform. The department said personnel will get advanced features including deep reasoning, adaptive reasoning modes with automatic, fast, and expert settings, customizable workspaces, persistent projects, and reusable scripts that can capture and scale institutional knowledge. It said Starshield AI's government version of Grok can help joint forces carry out tasks faster and more accurately across multiple combat scenarios, from market research analysis for procurement professionals to supply chain management for logistics staff.
