According to Bloomberg, Binance said in a statement that Signature Bank, one of its fiat currency banking partners, will no longer support any cryptocurrency exchange customers with transaction amounts below $100,000 from February 1, 2023. As a result, some individual users may not be able to buy or sell cryptocurrencies for amounts below $100,000 using SWIFT bank transfers. A Binance spokesperson said that other banking partners were not affected and are actively looking for alternative solutions. Binance also stated that only 0.01% of its monthly users are currently served by Signature Bank on average.
