SBF’s attorney, Mark Cohen, asked the federal judge in charge of the case to allow SBF to meet with some of those involved in FTX, saying SBF needs to participate in the defense, Bloomberg reported. Cohen insisted that the SBF did not attempt to influence witnesses in the U.S. government fraud case against him, accusing prosecutors of trying to paint him "in the worst possible light." Foresight News previously reported that U.S. prosecutors said that SBF tried to contact FTX’s general counsel to influence witnesses. The judge should ask the judge to prevent SBF from contacting former FTX employees and order a ban on SBF from using any encrypted messaging applications such as Signal.
