Acala: The community referendum passed and destroyed the abnormally issued 2.97 billion aUSD, and will formulate an aUSD recovery plan as soon as possible

Acala updated the tracking results of the aUSD abnormal issuance event chain today. The official tracked 16 identified addresses claiming 3 billion abnormal issuance of aUSD. The abnormally minted aUSD in 16 identified addresses has been converted into other tokens including DOT, and these aUSD have been transferred to other XCM-connected chains such as Polkadot, Moonbeam, Interlay, Astar, and CEX. In addition, the current community referendum has passed and destroyed the abnormally additional 2.97 billion aUSD. Next, the team will provide details of the liquidity pool severely damaged by the event, so as to formulate a recovery plan with the community as soon as possible.
