Odaily Planet Daily News Yuga Labs Chief Game Officer Spencer Tucker said that its latest video game Forge has twice as many users as its predecessor, Dookey Dash. Forge's user retention rate on day 10 is 42%.
Yuga launched Dookey Dash earlier this year, and the Sewer Pass NFT for the game generated more than $110 million in transaction volume, according to CryptoSlam.
Following Dookey Dash, Yuga launched the first season of the new video game HV-MTL Forge in June. In order to play the game, players need to own an HV-MTL NFT. According to OpenSea, the floor price of these NFTs is 0.57 ETH at press time (about $1,045), and has generated nearly $64 million in transaction volume since its initial launch in March.
Not only did the vast majority of players who played Dookey Dash not own the Yuga series NFT, Tucker pointed out, but the game also led many players to set up new wallets. “75% of Dookey Dash players do not hold NFTs in the Yuga ecosystem, and we saw a 40% increase in unique wallets,” he said.
Tucker added that HV-MTL Forge has six seasons and two modes, with the second mode launching in the coming weeks. (The Block)
