The Aragon DAO community has passed two votes to support the lawsuit against its founding team and provide it with 300,000 USDC funds. The vote was in response to Aragon Association’s move to dissolve itself and terminate its governance token, ANT, via ETH redemption. 300,000 USDC will be used by Patagon Management LLC to take legal action and negotiate with the Aragon team. After the vote, 300,000 USDC will be sent to the Patagon wallet.
Others would also be able to help fund the lawsuit and, if successful, would get their money back and receive 10 percent interest annually, the proposal said. They will also share 5% of the total funds and return it to token holders. If the case fails, they will not receive compensation. The lawsuit will be overseen by an oversight committee composed of representatives of investment firm Arca, cryptocurrency trader DCF God, and other individuals who go by the pseudonyms Wismerhill, Tedward, CM, Triangle, and Yakitori.
